The Case for Automation
Automation can help increase the productivity of an existing workforce by as much as 46%.
Learn MoreEach project is unique, and testing/systems commissioning will vary site to site. Advanced Intralogistics uses a multi-stage testing/commissioning process to complete the project as planned and turn the project over.
Site Readiness
The equipment for the applicable Worksite has been installed to an agreed upon level of completeness that allows the AI engineering team to upload controls software, begin I/O checkout, and begin Conveyor Static Checkout.
Static Testing
Systematic verification that all inputs and outputs have been correctly wired from the device to the I/O card. Programs are loaded into the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and network connectivity is established between all required I/O and devices. I/O checkout will be completed by functional area.
Dynamic Testing
The logic is enabled, and control of the system is established in the functional area. Systematic verification that all conveyors and field devices are functioning as designed (flow control, jams, full conditions, etc.). Commissioning begins with no product on the system and gradually increases volume to single products, and small volume quantities progressing methodically through the area.
Customer Acceptance Testing
Systematic testing conducted with the Customer to obtain sign-off and agreement that the system meets the system requirements as specified in the Contract documents prior to entering a live production environment.
Punch List
The Customer acceptance testing punch list is used to document minor anomalies, errors, and issues found during System Testing. The punch list will be given to each functional leader for correction by an agreed upon deadline.
